HL2 uz 13 dienu bus isleistas
HL2 World announced that Half-Life 2 will be finished on August 5th: „Right now we are looking at our bug numbers. Each day you fix some bugs and you find some new bugs. The net number tells you how quickly you will get to zero. At our current rate of find/fix bugs, we’ll be down to zero bugs in 13 days“ (Gabe Newell from Valve Software). This statement means that Half-Life 2 should reach the Gold status in the very near future. Thus, considering that Doom III will hit the store shelves on August 5th (what a coincidence!), it seems that the next month will be truly a hot one.

Everyone’s favorite Valve employee, Gabe Newell, revealed the technical requirements for the upcoming Half-Life 2. Ideally, one should have a 2.4 Ghz processor, 512 MB of RAM, and a DirectX 9 enabled graphics card to fully partake in the title. Those with less powerful components shouldn’t worry about upgrading unless their system specs fall below a 1.2 Ghz processor, 256 MB of RAM, and a DirectX 7 compatible graphics card.
Half-Life 2 is currently scheduled to go gold in August. While Valve has no officially confirmed a release date, both EBGames and Amazon.com display a projected ship date of September 1.
